Ashley and I went to see the new James Bond film “Casino Royale” at the cinema this evening.

This was a really good Bond film, much better than I had imagined it would be. It is easy to tell that this was made by the same director as “Golden Eye”, Martin Campbell; it is a real treat for all Bond fans everywhere.

Ann, Gemma and I went to see the film “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” at the cinema last night.

This was the funniest film that I have seen in many years. At times my whole stomach and face ached from laughing.  There are times when this film makes you want to cringe and deep down you know that it is anything but “PC” to laugh … but then you just go with the flow and enjoy the humour.  This film is a real breath of fresh air in today’s PC, nanny-state we live in.

Ian and I went to see the film “The Prestige” at the cinema last night.

This had to be one of the slowest films that I have ever sat through. In all honesty I almost suggested to Ian that we left before the film had even got through the first hour.

This is definitely not one that I will be adding to my fairly vast collection of DVDs.
